ACTIVITIES and ENTERTAINMENT:
1. Dine on the water at Blue Water Grill. Hurricane Marina is 1/2 mile down the road and at the bottom of Floating Mill Road (the road at the entrance of the condos). The marina has it all--restaurant, pontoon boat rentals, jet-ski rentals, store, and more. On weekends during the summer, there is usually live music. Check out the calendar of events and see all that is available at the marina. http://www.hurricanemarina.net
2. Cummins Falls, one of the best swimming holes in the USA, located 18 miles from the suite. Now a state park, it is definitely worth the trip. Wear comfortable shoes and the mile hike through the woods and up the river bed is not for the elderly or fainthearted. http://www.tnvacation.com/vendors/cummins-falls-state-park/
4. Appalachian Center for Crafts. This center is located less than 10 minutes from the Lake Suite and a wonderful way to spend a couple hours. The art, crafts, and gift shop are excellent and have received great reviews on Trip Advisor. https://www.tntech.edu/craftcenter/
5. Canoe the Caney Fork River. This is another 'bucket list' experience and easy for all ages. There are shorter and longer trips, but canoeing down the pristine clear river is a memorable experience. The crew will take you to the drop off point and pick you up downstream after a few hours. Check out the website. The business is located less than ten minutes from the condo. http://canoethecaney.com
